This summer, QAC Gallery invites Black readers, writers, educators, artists, students, librarians, organizers, elders, and community members to gather for UNBOUND — a collective reading vigil honoring Black books that have been banned, challenged, censored, or removed.

Across two powerful gatherings — one national online vigil and one in-person Oakland reading vigil — Black voices will read aloud the stories they tried to silence.
