About the Event
DJ The Griot’s Dream Workshop Overview
A significant portion of our lives is lived in our dreams, yet our
society sort of dismisses this enormous use of our energy, imagination, and intellect. Whatever spiritual tradition you practice (or don’t), whatever communities you identify as home, and whatever identities feel true for you – dreams are a great equalizer – something we all share. And when we choose it, our dreams dispel the mystery in a sometimes oppressively confusing existence.
What is the goal of the workshop?
The purpose of this workshop is to support you in engaging this part of your life by:
Developing a baseline understanding of your dream symbols
Leaning into your unique use of imagination and metaphor
Learning tools to use your dreams to better understand yourself
Elevating your dreams as a fun part of your life! (even the frightening ones).
Who needs to come? (Maximum number of attendees is 8.)
Come to this workshop if:
You want a greater understanding of how your dreams inform your waking life
You want tools to better make sense of your dreams
You dreams that have haunted you for years and you’re ready to explore their meaning
You just want a safe place to talk about your dream life
You are a dream worker and ready to more deeply explore that part of your path.
Be Prepared to:
Participate both actively and passively
Practice active and engaged in listening
Make space for the energies and perspectives others bring
Collaborate to reach a greater understanding
Know that everyone who shows up is meant to be a part of this element of your journey.
