Join QAC for our first Communal Poetry Workshop, a monthly series that we are excited to introduce to our East Bay community. In the spirit of Audre Lorde’s essay “Poetry Is Not a Luxury” (1985), we will study, gather, and create in ways that empower us to transform our dreams of liberation into language and action. The theme of our first workshop is Poetics of Relation: a call to meditate on the interconnection of ourselves, each other, and the words/worlds that hold us.
