Free Art Class for LGBTQ+ Families Including an Art Exhibition of the Children’s Work**

Duration: 60 minutes + optional exhibition time

For: Children ages 4-7 from LGBTQ+ families (guardians must accompany and remain with their children)

This special art class and reading event, led by artist **Kin Folkz**, the author and illustrator of the *"Bold Voices, Bright Dreams: James Baldwin & Audre Lorde Coloring Book,"* celebrates the creativity of children from LGBTQ+ families and two important Black Gay and Lesbian artivists for everyone to know about. The session will include a collaborative coloring and mural-making activity and a mini-exhibition where the children's art will be proudly displayed in the the Queer Arts Center in the week preceding Kin Folkz’s immersive exhibit, *"Intersection of Dreams: Baldwin & Lorde in Dialogue."*
