About the Event
Join us for the final weekend of Destined for Greatness, a solo exhibition by award-winning Black, queer, disabled, nonbinary/gnc artist Kin Folkz.
Presented as part of East Bay Open Studios, this exhibition explores ancestry, resilience, identity, liberation, and the power of collective imagination. Through vibrant paintings and mixed-media works, Folkz honors the stories we inherit while inviting us to envision more expansive futures.
Visitors are encouraged to spend time with the artwork, engage in conversation, and experience the Queer Arts Center Gallery—a Black, queer, disabled-owned cultural space dedicated to art, education, healing, and community.
