1st Annual BAY AREA W(h/a)acking Mini Conference  This expo is a mini conference that will highlight Waacking and Whacking culture on the West Coast and the San Francisco Bay Area, how it’s influence many generations.  We invite you to: -- learn more about different people's experiences about the revitalization of the dance traditions of Waacking and Whacking, a movement art born out of freedom of expression and resistance against homophobia and transphobia, done in the Los Angeles Gay Club scene. -- learn how you and your body relate to this movement tradition as we aim to grow in community with the Queer and Trans Communities of color in the Bay Area and regrowing. -- try something new, no matter how your body moves!  _______________________________ _______________________________________
